I am Melanie (she/her), and I would like to welcome you to my website!

I was raised on the Jersey Shore and am currently living in Washington, D.C., where I attend George Washington University in The School of Media and Public Affairs. I major in political communications and minor in journalism and fine arts.

I love exploring and appreciating the little things in life. My mind constantly revolves around artistic elements, which can be clearly seen in some of my go-to hobbies: sketching, painting, photography, videography, music, traveling & watching films.

This long-lived love for art and my passion for advocacy have led me to where I am now. I am more than excited to see where else it will take me. :)

Other random things! I'm tied to my Portuguese culture; I'm an astronomy nerd! and I like the art of video games.
